At Amplify Her we have our own carefully curated and intentional consultation and mapping process. All brow shape services include application of second skin, a barrier treatment to make waxing a more comfortable experience and minimise risk of skin grazing. As with all our waxing services we do not double dip wax sticks to ensure hygiene standards.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What should I do to prepare for my brow appointment?
Please come to your brow appointment with clean skin if possible, for the best results. Do not apply fake tan before your appointment or directly after as it can alter the colour of your brow tint or dye. Please let your artist know if you are using retinol, AHA or BHA skincare as these products thin your skin and are generally incompatible with waxing. Avoid using them near your brows for at least a month before your appointment. In addition to this please let us know if you are taking any antibiotics, blood thinners or medication for your skin as waxing may not be suitable for you.
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is a treatment enhances your natural lashes. This is done by setting your lashes in an upright curved position, making them more noticeable and appear longer. It lasts six to eight weeks. All our lash lifts include application of a lash tint and nourishing treatment.
What is brow dye?
Brow dye is a longer lasting colouring option for your brows. It is our most popular brow service, it can last up to ten days on the skin and four to six weeks in the hair. If you fill in your brows often, want your brows to feel fuller or feel like regular tint doesn’t last long enough, we highly recommend trying a brow dye. Regular tint only lasts a day on the skin and two to three weeks in the hair. To get the most out of your brow dye skin stain, avoid excess sweating, scrubbing the area and oil based face products, as this will cause it to fade quicker. Clients with oily skin will find the skin stain may not last as long. However none of the above will have an impact on how your brow hair retains the product.
What is a brow lamination?
Brow lamination is like a lash lift for your brows. The treatment is used to straighten and redirect your brow hairs so your brows appear fuller, fluffier and are easier to style.
